About David Kuplic, M.D.
Dr. Kuplic began his orthopedic career in Northeast Wisconsin in 1996 at Valley Orthopedic Clinic. He is one of the founding physicians of the Orthopedic & Sports Institute of the Fox Valley (OSI), established in 2006, helping the organization’s vision to provide exceptional orthopedic care to the community. Since then, he has been instrumental in advancing OSI’s mission and strengthening its reputation for excellence in patient-centered care.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, an Active Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and a member of the Wisconsin Medical Society. His clinical expertise spans a wide range of orthopedic care, including shoulder, hip, and knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery, pediatric orthopedic care, and general orthopedic treatment for bones, joints, and soft tissue. Dr. Kuplic offers both surgical and non-surgical options to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kuplic serves as a clinical instructor for the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency Program, where he helps train future physicians.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kuplic has been deeply engaged in the local community. He is a physician for the Lawrence University athletic program, and he has worked with the Appleton Area School District athletic program. Dr Kuplic participated in OSI’s Medical Mentoring Program, supporting students interested in healthcare careers.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kuplic enjoys spending time with his family and exploring new places through travel. He is an avid fan of live music shows and finds joy in golfing, boating, and a variety of outdoor activities. His commitment to service extends beyond healthcare, as he is actively involved in his church community, where he dedicates time to serving others. These passions reflect his belief in living a balanced life rooted in family, faith, and community engagement.
