Frequently asked questions

Where is the Walk-In Clinic located?

The Appleton OSI Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic is located on the second floor of OSI’s Appleton campus. Patient check-in is midway down the hall on the left.

Who can visit the Walk-In Clinic?

Our Walk-In Clinic treats patients who have suffered NEW orthopedic injuries. Weekend warriors, victims of Wisconsin’s icy conditions, or anyone who feels they’ve acutely injured a bone, joint, or muscle. We can examine any musculoskeletal injury that is not already currently being treated by a doctor. We can even treat some lacerations at the clinic.

What if I have injuries that are being treated by an OSI provider?

You should continue to make appointments with your provider for that particular injury. However, if you’re a current patient who just suffered a new, unrelated injury, we’ll be happy to care for you at our Walk-In Clinic.

Is this an urgent care facility?

No, this is not an urgent care facility. We are contracted with most major health insurance carriers and will provide care for non-insured or cash paying patients under an agreement made with them.
