OSI Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic

Note: As of July 1, 2019, the OSI Walk-In Clinic’s new hours will be 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

On January 2, 2018, the Orthopedic & Sports Institute opened its first walk-in clinic for orthopedic care.

The orthopedic walk-in clinic is staffed with OSI providers trained in muscle, bone, and joint care. Immediate specialized care is provided for most new orthopedic injuries including:

  • Sprains & strains
  • Dislocations
  • Broken bones
  • Sports injuries
  • New joint/tendon pain

The convenient walk-in service addresses potential issues related to an ER visit, most notably extended wait times and higher costs.

Patients using the OSI Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic are seen either by a nurse practitioner highly trained in orthopedic care or an OSI orthopedic surgeon. Digital x-ray and MRI capabilities available onsite provide a more convenient patient experience. Other onsite services at OSI include injections, bracing, and physical therapy.

The ability to provide comprehensive services that an orthopedic patient might need has been the vision of OSI since its inception a decade ago. Started by orthopedic surgeons who wanted to take a more active role in their delivery of care, OSI is unique in the services it offers. The campus has physician clinics, a surgery center, an imaging center with MRI, physical therapy, orthotics, and Recovery Inn, the first orthopedics-only skilled nursing facility in the country.

“We designed the experience around the patient,” said Curt Kubiak, CEO of OSI. “Our services and providers are all on-campus, which supplies not only a convenience factor but allows for continuity of care that enhances the healing process.”

The walk-in clinic’s focus is to provide prompt medical attention to new, acute orthopedic injuries. Services to address chronic pain, severe fractures and non-orthopedic issues are not provided.

The walk-in clinic is located on OSI’s second floor. Check in with the concierge just inside the main entrance for directions.
