About Jay Minorik, M.D.
Dr. Jay Minorik began his orthopedic career in Northeast Wisconsin at Valley Orthopedic Clinic in 2002. He became one of the founding physicians of the Orthopedic & Sports Institute of the Fox Valley (OSI) in 2006, helping establish its mission to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care. Since then, he has played a key role in shaping OSI’s reputation for excellence and innovation in orthopedic services.
With expertise in sports medicine and a broad range of orthopedic treatments, Dr. Minorik has dedicated his career to restoring mobility and improving quality of life for patients across the Fox Valley and beyond. He specializes in managing complex shoulder and knee conditions, including those resulting from sports injuries and degenerative disorders. His practice includes complete orthopedic care for the upper and lower extremities, with particular expertise in joint replacement and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery.
Dr. Minorik is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and completed his sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Wisconsin Medical Society and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Minorik serves as a clinical instructor for the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency program. He is a physician for the Lawrence University athletic program and has long supported local athletics, working with programs at Appleton Area School District and St. Mary Catholic High School. Dr Minorik contributed to OSI’s Medical Mentoring Program, supporting students interested in healthcare careers.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Minorik values family time with his wife and two children. He has a passion for travel and especially enjoys family trips that combine outdoor activities with cultural experiences.
