About Gearin Green, M.D.
Dr. Gearin Green is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in advanced foot and ankle care. He is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered treatment using the latest surgical and non-surgical techniques. Dr. Green’s expertise includes minimally invasive procedures, complex reconstructions, sports injuries, fractures, and total ankle replacements.
Dr. Green earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, one of the nation’s highest-volume orthopedic programs. He then pursued subspecialty fellowship training in complex foot and ankle reconstruction at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where he developed expertise in both traditional and minimally invasive surgical approaches.
Areas of Specialization
· Minimally Invasive Foot & Ankle Surgery Bunion correction, plantar fasciitis procedures, and bone spur removal using smaller incisions designed to reduce postoperative pain and speed recovery.
· Complex & Revision Surgery Second opinions, “re-do” surgeries, fracture care, limb salvage, and diabetic foot reconstruction.
· Total Ankle Replacement Advanced surgical techniques for ankle arthritis aimed at restoring mobility and quality of life.
· Sports Injury Management Treatment of Achilles tendon tears, ankle ligament injuries, and other foot and ankle athletic conditions.
Dr. Green is dedicated to helping patients make informed decisions about their orthopedic health. He provides comprehensive evaluations, discusses all available treatment options, and tailors each plan to meet the individual needs and goals of his patients. In addition to his practice, Dr. Green stays active as a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Green enjoys running, boating during the summer months, and spending time in Door County.
