In May 2026, the Orthopedic & Sports Institute of the Fox Valley (OSI) proudly celebrates 20 years of providing exceptional, patient-centered orthopedic care across Northeast Wisconsin. Over the past two decades, we have been honored to serve countless patients and remain deeply grateful for the trust our community has placed in us.
OSI was founded with a clear purpose: to design orthopedic care entirely around the patient—their journey, their comfort, and their goals. From non-surgical treatments to advanced surgical options, OSI brings everything a patient may need under one roof. Our comprehensive services include a walk-in clinic, physician clinics, physical therapy, MRI, onsite durable medical equipment (DME), and our AAAHC-certified ambulatory surgery center—ensuring seamless, personalized care at every step.
Dr. David Kuplic, a founding physician of OSI, explains,
“We wanted a one-stop destination for orthopedic care that prioritized a patient-centered experience in a non-hospital environment.”
As a physician-owned facility, OSI is led by an exceptional team of orthopedic specialists with advanced training and extensive experience in diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. We are proud that four of OSI’s founding physicians continue to practice with us today. In addition to our main location in Appleton, OSI serves Northeast Wisconsin through four satellite clinics in Oshkosh, Ripon, Shawano, and Waupaca.
Throughout our 20-year history, OSI has achieved numerous milestones and earned recognition for clinical excellence and community involvement, including:
- First to introduce robotic-assisted orthopedic surgery in the Fox Valley, Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Technology
- First surgery center in Wisconsin certified by AAAHC for total joint replacements
- Consistently recognized as Best of the Valley in Orthopedics & Sports Medicine
- Named Best of Winnebago County in 2025
- Hosted the April Fools Run for 10 consecutive years
- Coordinated a Medical Mentoring Program for Fox Valley high school students
