About Chad Walters, APNP

Chad Walters, who grew up in Minnesota and Wisconsin, joined OSI in the spring of 2021. He is on Dr. Kevin Campbell’s care team, and he’s actively involved in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic orthopedic conditions both independently and in collaboration with Dr. Campbell. In addition to seeing patients in clinic, Chad assists on all surgeries and is responsible for pre-op preparations, intraoperative safety, and immediate post-operative care. He places an emphasis on listening to his patients and believes that effective education and health promotion are vital tools in the prevention of injury and illness. During college, Chad’s sense of adventure and desire to care for others led him to study abroad in Australia and New Zealand before heading to Brazil and Thailand for mission work and tsunami relief efforts. These days when he’s not working, Chad enjoys road trips with his family and being involved in his church.
