The Orthopedic & Sports Institute (OSI) is seeking a Radiology Technologist. The successful candidate will x-ray patients and assist providers with patients in clinic. This is a part time position with the ability to travel to all of our locations. Hours will be between 7:30am and 5:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following establish procedures that include clinic, surgery cases, post op x-rays and injections under fluoroscopy or aspirations
- Room patients and take a history
- Assist with medical care of patients
- Communications with patient both in person and via telephone.
- Perform other selected medical assistant and administrative duties as requested
- Perform a variety of technical tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment, CR/DR/Portable DR
- Adjust equipment for proper exposure in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures, while using immobilization and protective devices as require
- Use Hoyer lift
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills

- Good computer skills
Qualification:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology
- AART Registered
- Must possess independent decision making skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
- Some travel may be required to outlying clinics
- Flexibility to work additional hours when needed
